Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity Relocation

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity were moving within their building and reached out to BCL to help. BCL worked towards a strict deadline and had some challenges relating to the Covid-19 pandemic.

As part of the move there was some excess furniture that BCL was able to split into recyclable elements and environmentally dispose of.

In the planning phase of the project BCL identified access and egress routes to minimise contact with the other occupants of the building. In fact the main entrance/reception was deemed off limits. Shift times and dates were also planned around the building’s quietest times.

Another bi-product of the pandemic was that most of the staff were working from home & not there to pack anything. This wasn’t an issue as BCL packed the IT, filing & personal items.

Greg managed the move really smoothly

Just getting a moment now to say a huge thank you to you and your team.

Greg managed the move really smoothly and him and the team were always willing to help resolve problems and go above and beyond. Feedback from staff now residing in new location is also good.

Best wishes Tracey
